I am not a religious person. Worse still, I have little sympathy for the whole thing. The hate, pain, racism, sexism, classism, toxic bullshit that has oozed from the cracks between a spattering of valuable moral lessons has consumed so much of organized religion that it baffles me for such a broken problematic institution to still exist.
