Dylan is a mysterious power, even to himself. I saw an interview with Charlie Rose I think where Dylan recites some lines from one of his songs and admits he can't write like that any more and wonders how the hell he wrote that in the first place. I loved that. My favorite song of his is simple twist of fate. To me that's transcendent art. I mean, it's like a Van Gogh painting or something.
