I agree about Carlin. Sadly, some of his stuff is unwatchable now. I know, because I just watched a terrible routine on Netflix which had completely been ruined by 2001 and the advent of global islamic terrorism--he made a lot of quips about airport security being unnecessary (it was the 90s.)
