I don't know if he's a killer. I kind of assumed from the trailer that he is the lawyer who gets the murderers convicted. I could be wrong. I don't know why the NY publishing industry wouldn't reach out to native american voices to tell that story from their perspective. In the future it's obvious that when presented with such a story they will let the people it happened to tell the story. We're not there as a culture yet but we are going there. So in that sense it is the last vestiges of white saviorism however well intentioned. THink about the massacre in Tulsa of black people. Who should tell that story? Spielberg? I don't think so.
