I Think It’s Probably Best That Mbappe Isn’t Going To Play Football In Saudi Arabia

Why do I think this? Because I have a teeny weeny bit of moral fiber left in my being.

So Kylian Mbappé is a beautiful soccer player who was rumored to be offered a billion dollars to play in Saudi Arabia, but apparently, he turned it down.

Good job Kylian.

But whatever you do, do NOT sign for Real Madrid. Here in Barcelona we would never forgive you. And we used to like you because you played with Messi. Better yet, join your old friend Messi in Miami. Soccer is super fun in the States right now. Our fantastic women’s national team is about to win another World Cup, I’m sure. And people are actually starting to care. I went to a women’s soccer game when I was in LA. It’s a team called Angel City F.C., started by the awesome Natalie Portman and Jennifer Garner. It’s a super fun atmosphere. They aren’t the best team right now, but they have a lot of spirit.

But wherever Mbappé ends up playing, I’m glad it’s not Saudi Arabia, but for complex reasons. The following are NOT the reasons:
