Interesting. I just saw somewhere there is a new book out by a historian about how Britain and France almost became one nation in 14 something or other. Uppity Brits and Uppity Russians liked to speak French. The French nation was seen as the height of sophistication and intelligence and manners. I would like to be a heresiarch! Seems like a lot of work though! Thanks for the thoughtful comment.
