No. They are NOT moving Mount Fuji. That is a misreporting of what’s going on in this sweet little town.

The town of Fujikawaguchiko sits at the foot of the Yoshida Trail to Mount Fuji, and it has become ruined by foreign tourists stampeding after the perfect selfie with the snow-capped peak behind. And maybe the moon. That seems really Japanese and mystical. The moon over Mount Fuji.
